Hello,
I have downloaded MEAD-5.07.tar.gz from
http://www.summarization.com/mead/. I have run perl Install.PL and now
have an installation that I have made just for myself. It is
/home/huw/mead. I have added mea.pl to my PATH. I cd into
/home/huw/mead/data and I run mead.pl GA3. I then get this output:
ki-16% mead.pl GA3
Using system rc-file: /home/huw/mead/bin/../.meadrc
Using user rc-file: /home/huw/.meadrc
Cluster: /home/huw/mead/bin/../data/GA3/GA3.cluster

/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/XML/Parser.pm

The file /home/huw/mead/etc/enidf exists and it's access permissions are
644, read and write for the owner (huw) and read for everyone else.
I've changed the permissions to 666 (read and write for all possible
users) and I get the same error. I've run mead.pl as root and I get the
same error.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I really want to try mead
out, but I'm stuck just now.
Thank you.
