Thanks for responding so fast. I'm running linux Read Hat release 7.2.
I'm assuming you are talking about the write-idf.pl script. During
installation the "Building English IDF DBM" phase seemed to work, i also
tried regenerating it using the following command:
write-idf.pl ../etc/enidf.db ../etc/enidf.txt
which works, but i still am getting the same error as before.
