Hi, Drago
I'm sorry that I havne't made my question clear.
This was your email to Pascale:

Step one would be for your student to install MEAD and get it to work
on English documents.
Then I will send him a bunch of Chinese docs already converted to the
MEAD docsent format. He will run on these and get some
encoding-related error messages. We will then need to understand what

they mean and fix them.
Drago
but I haven't seen any errors so far when I work on Chinese docs,as I had
sent you the output in one of the last emails.I am not clear what kind of
encoding-errors do you want me to see and fix.On what conditions do those
errors occur?what command of mead will bring the encoding errors according
to your experience?
Sorry to bring you so much trouble!
Sincerely
Yimin
