Re: MEAD: Re: Please will you help me install Mead? (fwd)

The upcoming 3.04 version of MEAD will have the
DID_to_docsent_filename.pm bug fixed.

The main change made is in DID-to-docsent but many other files are
affected as well. Before (in MEAD302.tar.gz) DID-to-docsent contained
a hard-coded path for the docsents. After my changes, the assumption
is that all docsents will be in the same directory and that the
directory can be specified by the DATA-DIRECTORY attribute in
<THE-WORM-CONFIG>.

I am attaching a sample config file.

<THE-WORM-CONFIG LANG="ENG" CLUSTER-PATH="/u/radev/jhu/ru/125" DATA-DIRECTORY="/u/radev/jhu/ru/125" TARGET="125">
<FEATURE-SET BASE-DIRECTORY="/u/radev/jhu/ru/125/features">
  <FEATURE NAME="Centroid"
    SCRIPT="/clair/tools/mead/programs/scripts/Centroid.pl HK-WORD-enidf ENG"/>
  <FEATURE NAME="Position"
    SCRIPT="/clair/tools/mead/programs/scripts/Position.pl"/>
  <FEATURE NAME="Length"
    SCRIPT="/clair/tools/mead/programs/scripts/Length.pl"/>
</FEATURE-SET>
<CLASSIFIER COMMAND-LINE="/clair/tools/mead/programs/hkmead.pl Centroid 1 Position 1 Length 9" SYSTEM="MEADORIG" RUN="01/03/2002"/>
<RERANKER COMMAND-LINE="/clair/tools/mead/programs/default-reranker.pl MEAD-cosine 0.7"/>
<COMPRESSION BASIS="sentences" PERCENT="20"/>
</THE-WORM-CONFIG>
